FarmersNode bridges the $75 billion financing gap, transforming fragmented on-farm data into verifiable digital identities and credit scores for Sub-Saharan Africa's smallholder farmers.

About FarmersNode
Empowering smallholder farmers with blockchain-backed digital identities and credit scores.
Sub-Saharan Africa's 200 million smallholder farmers face a staggering annual financing gap of $75 billion. Conventional lenders view them as high-risk due to scarce credit histories and collateral, with women-led enterprises particularly impacted. FarmersNode was founded to bridge this critical divide.
Our solution is a blockchain-backed, hybrid database that transforms fragmented on-farm data into verifiable digital identities and dynamic credit scores. By combining offline-first mobile solutions, agent-assisted data capture, and low-cost edge devices, we ensure reliable operation even in low-bandwidth settings, empowering farmers to unlock vital finance and build climate resilience.
